PaisleyI adopted Paisley (aka Tala) in March of 2010 at 11 weeks old. 12 lbs of lovable fur that was all about cuddles and toys. Its been three months since and I can't imagine life without her. She is the sweetest little girl. Gina rescued her from Mississippi with her sister Natani and mom Lola (now Lady). I couldn’t have asked for a better match. She had her first pool experience this past weekend and was retrieving in no time. She can't get enough of playing with the kids in the neighborhood and loves, loves, loves other dogs. Her best friend is a 120 pound Malamute. She goes everywhere with me! Everyone adores her no matter where we go. We are still working on the car thing. She gets a little car sick, poor thing, but is ready to play hard as soon as she gets out! Oh, and did I mention she’s the best little garden helper ever! While I weed and water, she runs around attacking the weeds on the ground and prances around proudly with the pot in her mouth. She is so smart. Knew her name, sit, down and high five within the first two weeks. She aims to please and she defiantly does that and so much more. She has filled my heart. Thank you Gina for my little girl. I have a forever best friend. ~ Bonnie, Wilmington, MA

PippyJust want to thank you for allowing me to adopt Pippy. She is an adorable and wonderful little girl. Her insulin shots are no problem at all, and she even showers you with kisses after her shots. She has adapted beautifully with all of our other dogs and cats. All she asks for is love. I hope others will consider adopting dogs with special needs. The rewards come back to you ten-fold. Good luck, and thanks again! ~ Marilyn Griswold

McGeeMcGee was the cutest puppy we have ever seen! It's unbelievable that someone threw him from a moving car when he was about 6 months old! The femoral head just below the hip joint was fractured, so he had to have a surgical procedure done. An FHO (Femoral Head Osteotomy) was performed where the ball of the femur is removed and the bone smoothed so there is no bone to bone contact between the pelvis and remaining femur, while all that holds his leg in place is the muscle. After all he has been threw he is still the most lovable dog you will ever encounter (even people afraid of dogs love him)! Obviously, we had to have him! My husband is a Veterinary Technician and wasn't afraid of working with an injured dog. We got a treadmill and started building up his muscle. Our little gimpy dog is now faster than all our friends' dogs - he loves to run, play, and especially loves to snuggle! He fit right in with our family... he's great with cats, other dogs, and kids (he loves to just sit there as the hug and kiss him soaking up ever minute of it)! Thank you for somehow giving him up and letting us adopt him - he has brought even more love and laughter into our lives!!! ~ Cara

DixieI wanted to take the time to say thank you for EVERYTHING you have done for my family and our new dog Dixie. We wanted to share with everyone how wonderful it was to work with you. We are a family of 4 with one 13 year old and an 8 month old. Back in December we had to put our family dog Diego down. This was devastating to us as well as our other dog, a lab named Lady. My husband started searching around for different dogs and saw your post regarding our
Rottweiler Dixie. We live in NH which is about 4 hours from you so everything had to be discussed on the telephone. At first I was hesitant because we had a newborn in the house and Dixie appeared to be rather large. I was amazed at how patient and kind you were with me on the phone. You spent several (and I mean several) phone calls talking with us and answering any questions we had. Also, your first and foremost goal was to make sure we were suitable for Dixie, which I thought was fabulous. We decided to come down to visit with the entire family including lady. We spent the night with both dogs and the kids and needless to say we left with a new addition to our family. Everything you said about Dixie has been true. She is the most wonderful dog and loves the kids. We can't thank you enough for bringing her into our lives. As for you Gina, I cant say enough about how much you love animals and how dedicated you are to making sure everyone is a perfect fit. To this day you still ask me how Dixie is doing and check in on us. You are truly a wonderful lady and we are so happy that you and Dixie came into our lives.

Thanks again Gina! ~ Leah Larson

MacI know I talked to you on the phone so you know Mac is doing well. I thought I would send along a few pics too. I took both dogs on a walk together today and it went great! The 3 mile walk did not wear them out though and they wrestled on and off for the past 2 hours and are finally relaxing. We are totally in love with him, he is perfect and I feel like my family is complete now. Thank you! ~ Kim

CiciWhen we adopted Cici aka Jayde, we gave her a new name to start her new life. She is amazing after everything she has had to go through in her short months only being 7-8 months old she is still a big ball of complete love. She loves playing with my other dog who is only 30lbs and she is so good with him. She loves being able to sleep on our bed, play with her toys and just get to be a puppy. Gina you are awesome you were always there when we had any questions or anything. What you do is amazing, so thank you for everything.
